Sarawak, my homeland is a state in Malaysia located on Borneo Island with Kuching city as its capital. Sarawak is the largest state in Malaysia and it is slightly larger than the size of South Korea.
Sarawak has about 2.5 million population with more than 40 ethnic groups each with their own distinct culture, language and lifestyles. We in Sarawak has never felt the indifferences and for many, many years, we have lived peacefully respecting each other’s religions and culture. And that’s what make Sarawak unique and colourful!
Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak, where I stayed has evolved with developments and there are many interesting places that tourist could visit in Sarawak. Sarawak Tourism Board can give tourists information about interesting places and events in Sarawak.
